I'm Julie- wife to my high school sweetheart, and mom to Brayden (almost 3) and Kenley (8 months). I started blogging before we got married and it has evolved into my daily musings as a stay at home mom and aspiring photographer. I've found it very therapeutic and a nice break when I get some *me* time! You can usually find me with coffee in one hand at all times!

When I first moved to Europe a few years ago, I started this blog so my family could keep up with my travels abroad. Over time, it's developed into a little collection of stories, photos and other cultural observations. If you're looking for a blog to satisfy your wanderlust, I'd recommend it. But then again, I may be a little biased. ;)

I'm a middle school math and science teacher at a school for missionary kids in Germany. Since school's out for summer, I'm spending June and July in America catching up with friends and family and raising the funds I need to return for another two years. My blog chronicles funny things my students say, lessons learned in teaching, and those awkward "American in Germany" cultural mishaps!
About a year ago I started making jewelry as an additional way to supplement my funds. This means that 100% of my Etsy sales go towards defraying the costs associated with living and serving in Germany. Many of my designs are based on memories of special students or experiences from my time in Germany, and I love sharing this part of my life with others in such a tangible way because when someone wears my necklace, they think of me and remember to pray for my ministry!
