Thank goodness it's Friday. I am so glad this week is over. One week down, one more to go and then I will be off for 2 weeks! Yay. Can. Not. Wait.
I am currently having a little crush on yellow. Yellow and grey, yellow and purple and yellow and navy blue. And you know I love maxi dresses! I wish I could wear them every day. And chevron...need I say more?!
So, what are your plans for the weekend? Anything fun on your agenda? We are taking Leonie to the movies tomorrow to finally see Ice Age 4. It's been in theaters here for several weeks now, but somehow we haven't made it and we want to see it before we see Brave which just hit theaters here in Germany (it's called Merida - Legend of the Highlands here).
After that we'll be hitting our local fair for some cotton candy and a ride in the roller coaster! Fun times ahead! And on Sunday we'll be at my IL's to celebrate grandma's 69th birthday with the fam.
Thinking about all that is kind of making me dizzy right now...haha...but I guess after a good night's sleep with no alarm in the morning I will be ready for the weekend!
Happy Friday and thank you for all the heartfelt comments and emails to my post from yesterday!
Hugs,

Welcome

Hi, I'm Chrissy - a part-time working mom and wife trying to navigate life by taking the pup for a walk while the pasta is cooking, so that lunch is ready on time. My spare time is for blogging and knitting - give me a precious skein of yarn and I am in heaven! Thanks for stopping by - enjoy! xxx

And Brave is ADORABLE!! Zach & I saw it (we love pixar movies!) and totally enjoyed it. It is super dooper cute :) :)
Have a great weekend & Yay for 2 weeks off :) :)
i like chevron too but on curtains and rugs. But yellow and grey is lovely! I'm a big fan of grey !
Sounds like a really fun weekend! And I bet you're just tickled to get on with vacation:) Loving that dress too!
I will never understand why the German titles of the movies are completely different most of the time...
Have a great weekend! Hugs!
Oh man, I love navy, I love pale yellow (and gray!!) and I love chevrons, haha.
After reading about your weekend plans, you have cheered me up and got me more excited about mine, so thanks! ;) You see, we have to go to a birthday little gathering and I have no desire whatsoever to go! :/ The birthday girl and I have nothing in common and seriously can not talk about anything, haha. It's not that I don't like her, but you know ... At least it'll be in a bar so I'll be able to get a little tipsy, haha, and I have new shoes to wear :p.
Breanne, our 8-year-old niece, LOVED Brave and Ice Age 4. I'm sure you'll all have a great time!
And yay to getting close to your well-deserved vaca! ;D
Have a fun weekend, Chrissy!
