Life really has it's mysterious ways.

Today is my mother-in-laws 69th birthday, and it's also the birthday of my bosses mother. Today is also the day my friend, Svenja, gave birth to beautiful twin babies. A boy, Emil and a girl, Ida. They were born via c-section this morning at 8 am. She texted me a photo right after and I was in awe at how precious they are. I will go visit her and the babies this weekend and can't wait to hold them in my arms.

Today is also the day the hubby's great-uncle passed away. He was 89 years old and after having a heart-attack a few weeks ago and a severe stroke last weekend his body just didn't have the strength to recover. He knew it was going to happen and he wasn't afraid. After having a long and fulfilling life, I think it's better for him where he is now.

I guess that's just the way life goes. One person leaves and another arrives. It's just not always easy to process all the things happening. You never know when it'll be your time to say good bye, so make the best of every day!

Carpe Diem

Hugs,

So true Chrissy. Like is tragic. And beautiful. It ends and it begins for many on the same day.. Thanks for the reminder!

Weird to look at it that way, but it's true: life is such a cycle.

Good piece of advice. But it's true, that's just the way life goes and we have to embrace it. We're so lucky to be alive and be able to enjoy every single day that's left :).

Isn't that the truth... And it continues to go on regardless. Happy weekend girl.

Hi, I'm Chrissy - a part-time working mom and wife trying to navigate life by taking the pup for a walk while the pasta is cooking, so that lunch is ready on time. My spare time is for blogging and knitting - give me a precious skein of yarn and I am in heaven! Thanks for stopping by - enjoy! xxx
