We really enjoy going on long walks with the pup every night right before sunset when the air has cooled off and the noises of the day are slowly trailing away. I love the smell of the fresh cool air and the scent of fresh mowed crops from the fields surrounding us. Kyra loves being together with her pack and enjoys every single minute of it. It's so much fun and such a good way to unwind.
On Friday we drove by a field that has been planted with gladis for people to pick. There is a little box for money, they trust in people to pay for the flowers and most people really do (I guess they know not everybody does and consider that fact when pricing their crops). I told the hubs to pull over so we could pick a nice bouqet for our home. Of course Leonie picked one for her room as well (pink and purple colored ones).
Yesterday we went to the movies to see Ice Age 4 which was really fun. Before the movie we had lunch at Burger King and when we came to the theater we still had 30 minutes left, so we decided to have a little coffee break.
Today we are headed to my IL's to celebrate the birthday of my MIL. Her birthday was actually on Thursday, but because my SIL lives and works in Stuttgart (which is about 1,5 hours away from us) and she couldn't come here before today, we will celebrate today. Fun times. Tomorrow we're planning on going to our local fair. Can't wait to have some cotton candy, kettle corn and chocolate fruits. mmh And we will stay to watch the fireworks at the end - because tomorrow is the last day of fair.

We went to my brother-in-law's for a little bbq and had a pleasant time. Now, instead of running of the treadmill as I'd planned, I'm having a whiskey and Coke ... my second one, hehe :p.
