I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I found out about the tragedy. I was at work at the office and we were listening to the radio when we suddenly really heard what we were listening to.
Everyone at the company ran to the cafeteria where we had television and stared at the TV screen not being able to grasp what we were actually seeing. It was all so surreal and sometimes still is.
But we will never forget. And we should never forget what happened. Today my thoughts go out to all who had to suffer a lost on this day and to all who helped fight for justice and still do.
Never forget.
Hugs,

Welcome

Hi, I'm Chrissy - a part-time working mom and wife trying to navigate life by taking the pup for a walk while the pasta is cooking, so that lunch is ready on time. My spare time is for blogging and knitting - give me a precious skein of yarn and I am in heaven! Thanks for stopping by - enjoy! xxx

We're you in the states then, or Germany? I remember where I was too, will never forget.
I was actually in Germany at the time. My dad was stationed in Giessen. What a horrific day. May we never forget.

I was in my freshman year of college.
Ugh...this day always brings up a giant lump in my throat that won't go down. But mostly I think about those who live this every day. Those that have no choice- they have grown up in a war zone and will most likely never see the end of it. I can't imagine.
