All summer long I couldn't wait for fall to come. I despise hot humid weather that makes it hard to breathe. I am not a summer person at all. I'd rather travel somewhere cold than having to bear temps over 80 degrees for a long period of time. I guess by now you can imagine that I LOVE fall! It's my favorite time of year! And those of you who have been reading WP for a while now, probably already knew.
Are you a fall person? Or do you love the summer? Maybe you even like the snow more than anything? What's your favorite time of the year? What's the best thing about your favorite season?
To me fall is for:
- taking the pup on long walks with the sound of rustling leaves beneath my feet
- mist ascending from the valley on my drive to work in the morning
- a crackling fire to keep me warm
- cuddling up on the couch with a book or something to knit and a cup of tea
- going on coffee dates with a friend
- decorating the house in warm colors and the scent of cinnamon in the air
- wearing cardigans and sweaters (this one kind of makes me feel old, lol)
Oh, I am so happy for this time of year,
I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
