03 September 2012

As I already mentioned in this post from last week, I am officially a Lister. I won a giveaway on Amy's blog Lemon and Raspberry and jumped for joy (literally) when I found out about it.

The picture above shows the cover of my album/ journal. I used a black piece of cardboard, folded it, punched holes into it, added 30 different sized, colored and shaped papers inside and used a leather string to bind it all together. I wrote the title using chalk and fixated it with hairspray (something I learned in art class at college).

List #1 - I am a Lister because...

Every day I look forward to the new post/ email in which Kam and Amy announce the topic for that day and as soon as I know it, I get started. I gathered a bunch of scrapbooking supplies in a box on my desk to have everything on hand right away, which makes it really easy.

List #2 - Goals for this month...

I only got into scrapbooking during our time in the US. It isn't that popular here in Germany, at least not as popular as in the States. A friend of mine had invited me to a scrapbooking retreat once and after that I was totally hooked. I tried both, working with supplies and creating a page on the computer, but I must say I enjoy working with real supplies and glue and glitter and all other shenanigans a lot more.

List #3 - My family & friends would describe me as...

Today's list (seen above) is all about what your friends and family think about you. I asked Leonie how she would describe me and the first thing she said was that I was affectionate and the second thing she said was that I was the best mom (she told me to write that down, so sweet).

So, do you scrapbook? And if so, do you prefer creating them with supplies and glitter and glue or do you create your pages on the computer?

Are you a lister?

Happy Monday!

Hugs,

I am completely obsessed with making lists. I buy those daily planners just for list making so that I can have a fresh to do list for each day. The second photo in this post reminds me of myself-- it helps me stay organized, I love being able to cross things off the list, I love writing stuff down, and I get to use super duper awesome pens! :)

Cool beans! I love your blog. I basically spent my entire teenage years in Germany (Giessen and Illesheim) and I miss it dearly. I've been trying to convince my fiance that we need to move there. I guess I want my daughter to have the same childhood I had. It certainly makes you appreciate and a bit more open to other cultures. I'm a new follower, fellow lister, and looking forward to getting to hear all about your wonderful adventures.

Stop by my blog one day and say hello :)

I AM a lister;) I agree with you- it makes me feel organized, accomplished, and I love record of what I've done. I'm not much into scrapbooks, but love making things with paper. Love your list book!

I wish I was better at scrap booking! But I guess I sort of do it digitally / on my blog :)

Your lists are great!

I haven't scrapbooked in a while but I love it... and I don't do the computer-thing, I love to do it all by hand ;)

I love making lists, but not a lister.

I had fun doing a scrapbook in high school for a club I was in haha.. but I dunno, I like art journaling a little bit better than scrapbooking for some reason.

Awe, your lists look awesome! ;D

I was going to join them a few projects ago, but I refuse to pay, haha. I think the idea is awesome, though.

Have a wonderful week, sweet Chrissy! ;D
