Gosh, time sure is flying. October is coming to an end, Halloween is right around the corner and we had our first snow this weekend. Phew...can we press pause for a moment.
It's been a stressful week. In case you read my post from yesterday (don't blame you if you didn't - it is way long), then you know why. I'm so glad it's over. This coming week school's off for fall break and I have the week off from work as well! Woohoo! Even more happy about that!
Today has been super lazy at home with some stitching, cooking from scratch and enjoying the day off. The hubs helped clean up our office / guest room which was in great need of decluttering. Turns out we all love the room now and it will probably be our new fave room for a while, lol.
It got really cold here. Freezing cold! Brrr...winter sure is on it's way and I am kind of glad the year is winding down and coming closer to it's end. Hoping for 2013 to be the year. I will be more precise when things are more definite. Just know that for now things are going in the right direction.

Snow? Awe! :P That sounds like so much fun and so romantic! I haven't seen snow for years. I get to see snow capped mountains here but we never went up in winter. Maybe I should add that to my to-do list :).
And that's so cool that you have a map of Chicago in your home!

I love maps, and the one you framed looks amazing!
Also, I'm kind of jealous of the snow, we barely get it in winter here where I live, not to mention Autumn. This year is being very cold for October tho!
